New England RRC Planning Application Refused

Devon County Council Planning Committee today refused an application from Viridor for the development of the New England Resource Recovery Centre.  The proposed facility would include an energy from waste facility, an on-site bottom ash treatment and recycling facility, a non-hazardous landfill for waste, a visitor and education centre, and a new site access road.

Polymer Recycling Facility Wins Carbon Award

Recycling and waste company Viridor is teaming up with Cardiff Central Youth Club, one of Wales’ top gymnastics facilities. Next Steps for Oxwellmains Energy from Waste Hub

The next steps in Viridor’s plans for a £200m energy from waste facility at Oxwellmains, East Lothian, Scotland, were today (2nd October) secured following the granting of planning permission by East Lothian Council for Viridor’s application to normalise waste reception criteria at the consented site. The move follows the 2010 decision by Scottish Ministers
