Press Statement: Incident A38 (Cornwall)

Viridor confirms that an incident involving one of its waste collection vehicles and a motorcyclist has occurred on the A38 in Cornwall this afternoon (28th February 2014). Air Ambulance and Police have attended the scene. The cause of the accident is currently unknown and a full investigation will be conducted in due course.

Viridor to recycle tonnes of cardboard in contract with Atlas Packaging

Viridor and Atlas Packaging, Barnstaple have announced a new three-year partnership that will see in the region of 1500 tonnes of pre-consumer cardboard waste being recycled each year. Cardboard off-cuts, a by -product from the packagers manufacturing process and previously seen as waste are now being delivered to Viridor and baled on a daily basis.
