Viridor & Somerset Wildlife Trust launch ‘Viridor Wild Walks’

Somerset residents are being invited to get out and enjoy their green spaces as Taunton-based Viridor and Somerset Wildlife Trust proudly launch ‘Viridor Wild Walks’ – a set of three walks introduced to mark Mental Health Awareness Week (8-14 May). The walks, which take in Viridor’s core sites in Taunton (at Priorswood, Blackbrook and Youngman

marking Vridor’s partnership with Somerset Wildlife Trust and the Trust’s first urban wildlife project, Routes to the River Tone, the first two interpretation boards of 15 have been installed in Children’s Wood. New partnership opens up wild Taunton for everyone

Viridor has renewed its partnership with the Somerset Wildlife Trust to support their urban wildlife project, The Routes to the River Tone, to bring people closer to wildlife in Taunton. The partnership, now entering its second year, will hold a programme of activities engaging Viridor employees and the communities of Taunton, focused on opening up
